With car ownership increasing, customers will not only put forward higher requirements in performance of automotive products, but also made more challenging requirements on the quality and processing of a car inner fender as automobile important components, Now wood, wood fiber composite materials, PP wood flour plate start a large number of applications in automotive inner fender, the world pay more attention to it, prominent feature is the premise of meeting the quality, greatly reducing vehicle weight, improve vehicle economy, the further development of the inner fender processing machinery is promoted. The processing of fastening hole on a car inner fender is an important step in the process of production and assembly for a car inner fender, processing quality and cycle of fastening holes is closely related to overall quality and production efficiency of a car inner fender. Therefore, in order to achieve the supporting processing machine on this new material inner fender, it’s required to design a new kind of dedicated machine tool for fastening holes on car inner fender.This paper is based on the new wood-plastic composite material of the inner fender, processing fastening holes on the car inner fender of this material, analyzing the characteristics, size of the car inner fender and the structural characteristics of the panel fastening hole, and researching the processing technology of the fastening hole. On this basis, it gives the overall layout of dedicated machine tool for fastening holes on car inner fender, specifically addressed the design of the transmission system and feed system, checking combined with formula, determining the main moving parts of the machine meet the design requirements, and determining the design of the positioning press mechanism, the machine bed, pneumatic systems, lubrication systems.Carried out structure static analysis and modal analysis of the rack using ANSYS finite element software, solving the maximum stress, strain, displacement of the rack, and the natural frequencies and modes on the lower modes, Analysis results shows that the strength and stiffness of the rack meet the design requirements, so the structural is stability.To establish sports simulation model in Pro/E, carrying out motion simulation and analysis of the established institutions with the institutions module, exporting animation files of the motion simulation, verifying the situation of conflict interference is not exist in a movement cycle. On the basis of the establishment of Pro/E3D model, carrying out the design and rendering of dedicated machine tool for fastening holes on car inner fender with RHINO software. In order to meet the aesthetic design of the machine, to lay the machine’s overall grade, and it is conducive to marketing of the machine later.
