The structure of transfer double tower with enlarged base includes two complicated structural styles (transfer story structure, and vertical shape setback and cantilever structure) specified in the Technical Specifications for Tall Building Structures JGJ3-2010. For the structure of double tower with enlarged base, it is necessary to take comprehensive consideration of the interaction between the skirt building of the structure and the tower. Because of the discontinuity of the vertical components of the transfer storey structure, it shall easily cause vertical stiffness mutation, leading to the weak storey of the structure. At present, little research has been done on this kind of complicated structure, and there are also many potential safety hazards, thus, calculation and analysis as well as seismic structure measures should be strengthened for this kind of structure.In this paper, we mainly carry out comparison between the softwares that are adopted widely for projects currently from various angles, and select out the structure that is proper for the paper to analyze PKPM and ETABS. Then, the paper uses the two softwares to carry out detailed seismic performance analysis for certain transfer double tower with enlarged base to which earthquake shall occur repeatedly, and carries out secondary stress analysis for important parts of the structure by FEQ finite element software, to verify the structure meets the requirement that "it shall never be damaged under small earthquakes". Next, the paper adopts the form of inverted triangular load distribution to carry out pushover analysis for the project by means of PUSH&EPDA, to verify that the structure meets the requirement that "it shall never fall down under large earthquake". Finally, on the basis of the actual project, the paper does research on the influence of various load distribution forms on such structure, and gets that, when the structure is at the performance point, the internal force caused when the inverted triangle load distribution form and the real-time mode load distribution form are at about4/5storey of the upper part of the structure, is the envelope curve of rectangle and CQC calculation results, and the rectangle load distribution form is the envelop curve of the other kinds of load distribution forms when they are at about1/5storey of the base. These characteristics can be used for the envelope design of the structure when carrying out similar structure design.
