We collected a lot of relate information, analysis of evaluation of the fourbridge-type case, Comparison and analysis of the methods of bridge technical conditionevaluation in "Code for Maintenance of Highway Bridges and Culverts"(JTGH21-2004),"Code for Maintenance of City Bridges"(CJJ99-2003) and "Standards forTechnical condition Evaluation of Highway bridges"(JTG/T H21-2011). Study themethods of bridge technical condition evaluation, Summarizes the advantages anddisadvantages of the methods of bridge technical condition evaluation of Three code, and recommendations for improvement. The main conclusions are as follows:①"Standards for Technical condition Evaluation of Highway bridges"(JTG/TH21-2011)has many advantages, such as the authoritative workload is small, easy tooperate. There are many deficiencies in this specification, example: part rights re-fixed,there is no bridge type components refinement, leading to subjectivity and arbitrarinessof the bridge condition evaluation results. Reference "Standards for Technical conditionEvaluation of Highway bridges"(JTG/T H21-2011) improvements related terms.②The method of hierarchical assessment and the method of weighted average isused in "Code for Maintenance of City Bridges"(CJJ99-2003),and specifies thestandard and the Marking Scheme of component defects, therefore, the result oftechnical condition evaluation of bridge is more objective. But ratings of the upper andlower structure used the method of arithmetic mean, this weakened structural defects. This code is incomplete in bridge type and component classification, and is not suiTabfor bridge condition evaluation large-scale and complex bridges Reference "Standardsfor Technical condition Evaluation of Highway bridges"(JTG/T H21-2011)improvements related terms.③The method of hierarchical assessment and the method of weighted average isused in"Standards for Technical condition Evaluation of Highway bridges"(JTG/TH21-2011). This code specifies the weight of components bridge, scale of componentand categorization of evaluation criteria, therefore, the result of technical conditionevaluation of bridge is more objective. the premise of the code is checking bridges allmember, greatly increasing the effort and cost of the bridge inspection. Our solution isusing visual methods to be assessed for the complex structure of the bridge in theabsence of sufficient time and cost under. In short, the main advantage of "Standards for Technical condition Evaluation ofHighway bridges"(JTG/T H21-2011).is more comprehensive, and the method ofevaluation is more complete, and the disadvantage is workload is increasedsubstantially.
