Investigation About Reconstruction Technology Of Widening For Double-curved Reinforced Concrete Arch Bridges

Double-curved reinforced concrete arch bridge has been widely used during60to70years in the twentieth century, but, after a certain period, most bridges appeared the varying degree damages, due to the design theory and construction of the lack of experience. At the same time, along with the highway traffic volume increases, in order to improve the traffic capacity of the old bridge, bridge reinforcement and broadening transformation is a problem to be solved. This paper is based on double-curved reinforced concrete arch bridge widening research, and the major work summarized as follows:①The development, application and the present situation of the bridge widening technology of double-curved reinforced concrete arch bridges at home and abroad are reviewed. Summarizes the common structure performance evaluation methods of reinforced concrete arch bridge, and briefly introduces the old bridge evaluation and widening principles.②The force characteristics of double-curved reinforced concrete arch bridges were analyzed; the commonly used technology and method for widening were studied, and at last, the scheme of cantilever method and to increase arch rib is selected.③Build finite element model of the bridge, before and after widening the bridge, by using the Midas finite element analysis software, to complete the structure load effect calculation and combination. To compare and analyze the mechanical behavior of the bridge, before and after widening the bridge, the conclusion that the bearing capacity of the widening bridge is significantly improved than the old bridge is obtained.④The widening project construction steps and its feasibility are summarized. The steel reinforced concrete section is used in the widening arch rib of the double-curved reinforced concrete arch bridge. It is convenient to install and transport and has good material properties. At last, the effect that the double-curved reinforced concrete arch bridge widening will strengthen the bridge unity, alleviate the traffic pressure and promote the local economy is briefly analyzed.
