Concrete continuous box girder bridge because of its large lateral torsional stiffness, small deformation, smooth linear, comfortable driving experience, a relatively simpleconstruction technology and reasonable economic indicators have been widely used andpromoted in the bridge structure. With the increasing demand of urban transport, moreand more city interchange bridge also began to use the long cantilever box girder orwide box girder form. Spatial mechanics behavior of wide box girder structure usuallyexhibit greater space for deformation and force superiority. This thesis first introduces the research results at our country and abroad width boxgirder bridge and briefly introduced the development trend of it. This thesis alsodiscusses the existing research methods of the shear lag and listed the shear lag rulesthrough the analysis of completed engineering. This thesis expounds the existinganalysis theory and spatial mechanics behavior of the curved bridge, then brieflyintroduces the common diseases and influential factors of the curved bridge. This thesis uses Midas Civil simulation analysis of the whole bridge based on thegrillage method with a three span continuous concrete curved wide box girder bridge asthe background and then calculated spatial mechanics behavior of curved wide boxgirder. This thesis also analysis of the effect of different support form and supporteccentricity on bending moment, shear and torque through change the supportingparameters of the curved wide box girder in order to explore the reasonable supportingform.Based on Midas Civil analysis, the finite element model is simplified appropriately, then ANSYS finite element software was chosen to analyze the shear lag effect of thecurved wide box girder. finaly we change the structural parameters in order to obtain thefactors of the shear lag effect rule and the its influence of the curved wide box girder. The results of this thesis has certain guiding significance for the future design ofthe curved wide box girder.
