As the requirement of the air vehicle’s speed is increasing, the application range ofthe scramjet is becoming more and more widely. The performance of the ramjetdepending on the performance of the ramjet’s control system, and the fuel controlsystem is one of the ramjet’s main control systems, follow the development of theengine, the requirement of the fuel control system is more and more high, so to designa good controller for the ramjet fuel system is very necessary.In this paper, first of all, the ramjet ontology and its fuel system are introducedand analyzed, the mathematical model of the ramjet precursor, the inlet, thecombustor and the nozzle are established. The ramjet fuel system’s ideal mathematicalmodel is established by the momentum theorem and the power balance theorem.Secondly, the ramjet fuel control system’s basic structure and principle areintroduced and analyzed. The parameters of the PID control strategy are optimized bythe intelligent algorithm for the requirements of the ramjet fuel system and the widerange of application of the PID control strategy. The optimization theory is introducedand analyzed, swarm intelligence algorithms such as particle swarm optimization(PSO), artificial fish swarm algorithm (AFSA) are introduced and analyzed., The PSOis used in the ramjet fuel control model, and in connection with the problem as easy tofall into the local extremum point in the operation process of the PSO, take theadvantages of the PSO and the AFSA, the target population is divided into twosubpopulations, one subpopulation is using the PSO algorithm, the other is usedAFSA, the AFSA subpopulation is divided into multiple subpopulations, eachindependent micro population is used AFSA, at the end of the optimization, the resultsof the two subpopulations are compared, get an integrated optimal solution. Thesimulation results show that the improved algorithm had certain enhancement at thesuccess rate and searching efficiency after iterative stabilize.Finally, aimed at the problems of the PSO algorithm and the improved AFSA-PSOalgorithm which in the process of the simulation. The IMC algorithm is used in theramjet fuel control model, and in connection with the problem as the perturbation ofthe control model’s parameter in the process of simulation cannot adjust online by theIMC strategy, introduced a method to adjust the parameters of the internal modelcontroller online by using the fuzzy control strategy. When the perturbation is appeared in the simulation process, the fuzzy controller adjusts the adjustableparameters of the internal model controller online of the fuzzy control rules which isdefault, the control system’s robustness and tracking performance have improved.
