With the rapid development of highway construction in our country, thetraditional design theory has been difficult to meet the actual project design needs ofcomposite foundation. So the research of composite foundation analysis predictionmethod has important theory value and practical significance. In this paper, existingproblems of composite foundation calculation are taken for further discussion andsome beneficial conclusions are obtained, the main work is as follows:(1) According to observational data of composite foundation deformation fornearly10years, we can determine the subgrade filling speed, reasonablearrangements for preloading period.(2) To collect a lot of existing highway survey, design and settlementobservation data, the specification method of composite subgrade settlement iscalculated, and compared with the measured settlement, it is found that theirrelationship is relatively scattered.(3) Based on the typical pavement subgrade settlement on the measuredsettlement data-time curve, and according to the method that is commonly used inengineering practice, by mathematical analysis software to forecast the compositesubgrade settlement, the results show that the traditional curve fitting are summarizedbased on a few special half empirical formula, are not suitable for a wide range ofapplications.(4) The powder jet pile composite subgrade is analyzed through the finiteelement method the displacement of zone and the bottom layer, and gives the generalexpressions of powder jet pile composite subgrade settlement calculation, through alot of expression of correction coefficient is calculated.(5) The general expression of composite subgrade settlement are given in thispaper. The results show that the calculation method of clear mechanics concept is notonly simple, but also more close to actual engineering.
