Steel reinforced concrete structure will be widely used in high dwelling house andmulti-stories office building, because a little profiled bar is inserted into the section ofreinforced concrete, the section size of column would be diminished effectively, the shearcarrying capacity and the deformation capacity will be improved. It is valuable to study theperformance of the abnormal steel reinforced concrete column-beam joint under low reversedcyclic loading for perfect design of steel reinforced concrete structure.The abnormal steel reinforced concrete column-steel beam joint which is widely used inproject is adopted in this study. The mechanical process analysis,the deformation capacityanalysis and the energy dissipating analysis under low reversed cyclic loading are discussedby elasticity-plasticity finite element theory.The results indicate the deformation capacity is improved by inserting profiled bar intothe core of the column. The deformation capacity and the energy dissipating is improved in acertain extent by increasing strength classes of concrete in a certain range. The joint crackresistance, rigidity and load-carrying capacity is improved obviously under axial compressiveforce; with the ratio of axial compressive force increasing, the deformation capacity and theenergy dissipating of joint is improved in a small range in low ratio of axial compressiveforce.The beam size is the most important factor affecting the capacity and the seismic perfo-rmance of abnormal joint, the distinctly affecting is the change of small size.Abnormal steel reinforced concrete column-beam joint with welded haunch can effecti-vely transfer the plastic hinge away from the beam end, they have good full hysteresis curves,good ductility and energy dissipation capacity. The conclusions are consistent with theconclusion of correlative experimentation, it will be reference value for the scientific design of the abnormal steel reinforced concrete column-beam joint...
