The coupling study of heat and mass transfer in porous media during phase changewith outer energy has been an important role in the study of porous, with thedevelopment of science and technology, this study is more and more useful in anyaspects of engineering and people’s life, especially with the development of reusable olaunch vehicle, the MTPS which means Metal thermal protection system will play acrucial role in the next reusable launch vehicle.Base on the such successful theory thatachieved by so many predecessors, we can built the appropriate mode to make couplingnumerical simulationof heat and mass transfer in porous media during phase changewith outer energy, after that, we get may results of the simulation and do lots analysis ofthe function of different physical quantity to get a more appropriate mode. The majorsubject of this study is about the physical quantity of MTPS of launch vehicle whileback atmosphere, so the detail of this study conclude:By analysis and compare with each other, we can build a mode which is suit to theheat and mass transfer in porous media during phase change with outer energy. We useCOMSOL software to built a mode to do numerical study about this question. As weknow, the relationship between the different physical quantity in the porous mediaduring heat and mass transfer is so complex and lots of them has not been study clearly,so how to analysis, how to simulate, which physical quantity should been simplify,which mode is suitable to our study and so on, these questions has been consideredclearly.The main content of this thesis is about the coupling study of heat and masstransfer in porous media during phase change with outer energy, and the details andinnovation as fellow:(1) Built appropriate model to simulate the phase change in porous media withouter energy, analysis the function of radiation to the mode, gives some advices abouthow to consider the radiation;(2) Use the software to do numerical simulation about the function of volumeexpand coefficient to the mode;(3) Consider the different physical quantity’s function of micro-model based ofporosity, and get a new concept called valid porosity, do simulation again about thismodel;(4) analysis the mode and find that the phase change region go forward along thedirection of outer energy macroscopically and volatile microcosmic.
