With the continuous development of the switching power supply technology, thebattery charging technology achieved important progress. A lot of charging convertersusing switching power supply technology are widely used in electric field, such aselectric vehicles, space power. In the field of space power, switching power supply ismainly used in the on-load power and electric propulsion. And batteries, as energystorage devices, plays an important role in spacecraft power supply technology.At present, most of the charging technology has the contradiction betweencharging speed and battery life. Rapid charging technology for some applications,finished charging the battery in a short period of time, but it will damage the internalstructure of battery, which affects the battery life.To improve the the charge converter efficiency and power density, in accordancewith the technical requirements of the Space Power Control System design basedcharging converter Interleaved Buck.In this thesis, for battery charging requirements, by analyzing and comparingdifferent structural characteristics of the main topology, two-phase Interleaved Buckcircuit is chosen as the main topology of the charging converter. After calculation of themain circuit topology parameters, a small-signal analysis and modeling of the chargingconverter is made, and then through MATLAB simulation, come to the open-loopcharacteristics of the system. Finally, based on the open-loop characteristics of thecharge converter, the design of the compensation network, derived on the basis of thecurrent loop and voltage loop, and through the implementation of the hardware circuit,the charge converter power-on debugging, testing the actual testresults and theoreticalanalysis are the same or similar errors or deficiencies are pointed out.
