At present, the sustainable development of the automotive industry have met twomajor challenges: energy shortage, environmental pollution.With the rapid developmentof the automobile industry all over the world. The private car quantity increases rapidly,harm of traditional internal combustion engine brings to human living environment andthe pressure of the growing shortage of oil resources gradually show up. Forcing peopleto develop the new generation clean energy power car, and currently a feasible way is todevelop the hybrid electric vehicle. Torque distribution and execution between variouspower sources in the car are key technologies of energy control strategy. This papertakes energy control between the power sources in the parallel hybrid electric vehicle asthe research object, focuses on the research of the energy distribution and dynamiccoordination control of hybrid electric vehicle.This paper studies the working principle of several commonly used control strategyof the hybrid electric vehicle and its application field, then decided to choose the logicthreshold control strategy, for its strong practicality and easy to realize, by using theforward simulation idea. By analyzing the transmission input torque demand based ondriver’s accelerator and brake pedal stroke, the corresponding mathematical model isestablished, and determine the target torque of engine, motor output according to thebattery SOC characteristics and the position of the driver demand torque in the engineefficiency MAP diagram, then complete the torque distribution control strategy,establish the corresponding simulation model.In order to realize the smooth switch between every vehicle operation mode and donot affect the vehicle ride comfort, this paper analyzes every operating state and modeof the engine and motor in all operation pattern during vehicle running, and presents asimplified flow chart of control strategy. Then makes a detailed analysis of theswitching process that may be encountered between the modes given, and also give thedynamic coordinated control strategy flow chart, provides the theory support for thelater dynamic coordination control strategy.The main component model is built in AVL/Cruise, for example, cab, body, engine,battery, transmission, wheel. Then carry out the united online simulation with thecontrol strategy model built in the MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow by the interface andchoose Cycle Run, Brake/Coast/Thrust and other computing tasks to validate thefeasibility of control strategy in the driving and braking.
