Train intelligent display terminal is an important part of the train monitoring system,It mainly use to display the real-time information of train in the monitoring system. As a platform of human-machine interface, it provides the related parameters and the fault information that produce in the running train for the train staff real-time, then the safety of the train can be ensured. Meantime the train staff also can controll parts of train equipment from a long-rang only need take some simple operations.IEC61375is a international standard for the train communication network(TCN), it was established by Interntional Electrotechnical Commission(IEC) for uniting the communication of data in railway equipments. The standard divide the TCN into two lavers:one is called Wire Train Bus(WTB), which is used to connect all the nodes of the different vehicles; and the other one is called Multifunction Vehicle Bus(MVB), which is used to connect the different equipments of the same vehicle. Train intelligent display terminal is a kind of MVB equipment that belong to the internal of train, Therefore, the interface of MVB is also the necessary for the equipment.The project devide the train intelligent display terminal into hardware and software.For the hardware, the design use the S3C6410arm as the cpu of the train intelligent display terminal. Accordin to the analysis of functional, the design mainly include power module, memory module, LCD module and touch screen module, and provide some parts of circuit diagram, and also explain some function of pins. After that, it design some peripheral interface circuits, include USB, SPI interface. At last, because the MVB NIC is not the focus of the project, therefore it give a simple declaration and diagram design for the MVB NIC.For the software, the design use the Linux embedded system as the development platform. Qt/Embedded is choosed as the tool of developing GUI, complete the designing system monitoring interface. It design the drive for the handware in the Linux embedded system. At the same time, it research the real-time protocol stack in the Linux system, and use some ways of Linux interprocess communication to complete the communication between upper application and MVB buss data.
