Vortex flowmeter is designed on the basis of Karman vortex streetprinciple.Because of excelling others in some aspects, it develops speedily from1970’s.Vortex flowmeter will play a leading role in all kinds of flowmeters in the future. But theexisting vortex flowmeter has shortcomings of poor anti-interference performance andhigh lower limit of flow measurement.The research of this paper bases on principle and basic structure of vortex flow meter,mainly discusses the realization of main controller hardware and software. In view of theshortcomings of traditional Vortex signal processing, the design uses spectrum zoomtechnique based on integer times of extraction, called ZOOM-FFT to improve theresolution of FFT algorithm. Hardware design uses dual-core processing technology inwhich the microprocessor combined with DSP to meet the actual needs of real-time andstability. This design coordinate the two processor ’s work, makes full use of HPI export tocomplete information transmission and signal transmission between signal processor andcontroller, each part uses micro power consumption design, finally sents the various datato single chip microcomputer to display. Through the verification of the theory, it isshowed that the system is reliable, flow measurement is accurate, and data’sconfidentialityand the system’s anti-interference functions are very strong.
