As one kind of trenchless technology, pipe-jacking construction has advantagessuch as low cost, fast and safe construction, environmental friendly, little trafficimpact, significant reduction in the coordination of the construction process. Thisconstruction becomes one indispensable key technology in urban modernization,which was used in projects of better geological condition. It was difficult incomplicated geological conditions such as intensive areas of the buildings, road twistsand turns, much underground facilities, et al. With research of engineering,development of measurement, control, pipe section joints technology, progress ofpipeline lubrication technology, the curve pipe jacking construction technology isgradually applied to the complex geological underground pipeline projects. Accordingto Xiamen Urban Planning Ordinance (2003), excavation is forbidden in newconstruction, renovation, expansion of roads in five years. Xiamen urban pipe jackingconstruction of underground pipeline gradually replaces the broken road construction.Pipe jacking construction is often small caliber traction pipe jacking construction.Large-diameter pipe jacking construction generally uses artificial hand-dug pipejacking, where most of the pipe line is straight. The project of110kV Banzeng II,whose pipe diameter is2000mm, uses slurry balanced curve pipe jackingconstruction technology and partly through rock layer.Features of slurry balancedcurve pipe jacking construction technology is used in the construction oflarge-diameter power pipeline.The main research work are as follows: introducing the development and status ofthe pipe jacking technology, analysing work principle of slurry balanced curve pipejacking construction, choosing the style of pipe excavation according to thegeological survey data. Because of high buildings on the side of curve pipe zone, inorder to avoid the basement of this high building, jacking corrective and measurementcontrol technology in the process of the implementation plays a very important role. Itis necessary to analysis the key points of jacking corrective and measurement controlcombining the actual condition, and make treatment measures. In this project, curvepipe jacking needs to go through the whole weathered and strongly weathered granite.In order to reduce jacking resistance, grouting antifriction technology was used.Real-time pipe jacking construction data were recorded in construction process.Necessary measures was taken to ensure that the curve pipe jacking to the smoothprogress of the predetermined path. This project is across main traffic road, wherethere are lots of commercial group, residential group, and decrepit houses. It isnecessary to analysis ground subsidence mechanism and factors of subsidenceproblems, avoiding damage of surrounding buildings and roads. To solving thecontamination of “slurry balanced methods”, dewatering machine was used in thisproject.Slurry balance curve pipe jacking construction technology in power renovationproject has a certain universality and importance. The curve pipe jacking constructionexperience in the construction of the underground pipeline engineering can be areference for the construction of similar projects in the future. This technology has practical significance and broad application prospects.
