Viscosity is an important physical properties of liquid substances, but also evaluation ofvarious oil properties is an important indicator. Viscosity measurement is to ensure safety in production,control the production process, scientific research and an important means to assess the quality of products.The accuracy of viscosity measurement accuracy and various viscosity measurement tool, is aprecision calibration device is needed to guarantee. Since the1990s, the oil analysisinstruments in China has been rapid development, but the viscometer verification devicewidely used still need manual operation, visual reading, pinch table timing, not high degree ofautomation and test error.Based on the current status of the viscosity test technology research in the hardwaredesign and software programming based on practical work, we propose a vision-basedprocessing technology capillary viscometer test scheme. The scheme is adopted in computerplatform with some image processing algorithm of OpenCV visual database, realize the scaleline capillary viscometer detection and surface target mobile detection process, instead of thetraditional visual reading line operation. The Microship (also known as the MicrochipTechnology) PIC16F882RSIC structure of micro controller, and the electromagnetic valvewith DC suction pump and other components designed a vacuum suction system. Thehardware system of computer control instructions received via RS232serial port or Bluetoothcommunication mode, realizes the automatic verification process of each standard samplesolution for4-5times. The instrument was designed and produced compared to existingmanual test mode, the time measurement accuracy and position measurement accuracy areenhanced by an order of magnitude, and has the advantages of simple operation, fastprocessing speed, high-precision test, and high degree of intelligence.
