Nayong power plant is a large enterprise which is set up for the West-East electricity transmission project. After putting into production, it should have a office automation system. To avoid the problem of sharing information, it is necessary to build the intranet platform where the information and resource can be shared. The platform comprises the electric power product system, the scheduling manage system, market system and the applications for the enterprise. It can provide the manage information and the decision-making information for this plant , accelerate administration information and the scientific decision in order to improve the economy benefit and society benefit of this plant.Bluetooth is a new technology on wireless connection in a short distance, which is specified to replace the cable of many devices. So if we build wireless office network which is based on Bluetooth technology in Nayong power plant, the cable of many devices is thrown off to improve the condition in office and the level of office automation, solve the difficulty of using the cable. The technical standard of Bluetooth is a systemic solution which comprises the hardware, software and the demand of interoperability. Bluetooth operates in the global available 2.4GHz free ISM band, its topology is the piconet. It implements the wireless communication with data and voice, by the combination of circuit switching and packet switching.In the hardware kit of bluetooth office automation system in NaYong power plant, the access of LAN is applied, which involves PPP, UDP, TCP and IP, so they also are discussed in a nutshell.The application profiles describe protocols and procedures which are demanded by all kinds of applications. The paper discussed emphatically the GAP, RFCOMM, SDAP and LAP which is belonged to the common application profile.The paper builds the application model by lucubrating the protocol and profile of Bluetooth.1. Using fiber as the backbone network in Nayong power plant.2. Realizing the interlinkage and sharing resource in every office with bluetooth.3. Developing the embedded instrument with bluetooth to realize remote control measure the device. Building the hardware kit by the bluetooth RF, baseband and LCP.4. Developing some application programs to build the software kit.On the basis of the model, the paper's emphasis is to study the software kit. In the paper, a scheme of integrated MIS is developed and its total function framework andsub-system function is described. In this way, the framework of application program is founded.The design of luetooth program must follow the bluetooth procotol. In this paper, the JINOU BRTI Bluetooth Chinese edition development Kit is used. We config the bluetooth and develop the application program by it.At last, a test is done by the BPA100 protocol analyzer, then we can find that bluetooth office automation system in NaYong power plant Guizhou province carrys into the wireless office in the plant, all the devices in the net can communicate with the right routing, and the applications based on the hardware platformform run credibly, the network can improve the level of office automation.
