The punching failure is the existing problem of the concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST)joint. This paper mainly studies the punching failure problem of a new type of CFST joint,which is the embedded concrete-filled steel tubular column base joint with external annularsteel Plate. Finite element model on a trial basis. The problem is analyzed in two sides, oneside is the study of the failure mode of the CFST joint with external annular steel Plate, theother side is the study of the influence on the punching capacity of the joint, which is causedby external Annular steel Plate of various heights.This article is based on the research group test specimen model ZJ/H-78, using ANSYS,the finite element analysis software to establish the finite element node model, select the formof the model unit, set up real constant, the definition of material properties, and according tothe performance of the node model to determine the various parameters of finite elementanalysis. Modeling to create a whole entity, to determine the grid, set the conditions forsolving the constraint.First of all nodes in the finite element analysis of failure modes, ultimate bearingcapacity, such as mechanical performance, from the development of the ultimate bearingcapacity, crack, the stress of the stirrup stress and their respective features and experimentalanalysis comparison of the mechanical properties, thus the accuracy of the finite elementmodel are validated. On the basis of changing the size of the reinforcement ring plate and theburied depth, and set up a lot of finite element model is analyzed, the failure modes andultimate bearing capacity of node, through data analysis to determine the ring width, thethickness of the ring plate and ring plate depth effect on the properties of the node stress.The analysis results show: with the increase of the width of ring plate increases theultimate capacity of the joints, with the increase of the ultimate bearing capacity of ring platering plate thickness and buried depth of a relatively flat, and gives the value to construct thepartial ring plate size in consideration of safety. Then the numerical simulation software1stOpt is used to fit the data of finite element analysis, bearing capacity of column base jointformula was established. The bearing capacity of surrounding area contains the core regionand the peripheral reinforced concrete concrete with ring plate column soleplate of formation is composed of two parts, the bearing capacity of column is the superposition of the bothbearing capacity. The parameters of the numerical simulation of the back to recommendformula is calculated, the results and the test results and the finite element analysis results arein good agreement. To provide a theoretical basis for the future engineering design.
