Study on the stability of the slope is a hot research spot at home and abroad. Factors thataffect slope stability is complex and has a certain degree of uncertainty, so geotechnicalengineers can,t totally understand the mechanism and can,t obtain the evolvement proeess ofbody deformation in quantity nowadays.Through the research on analysis of the stability ofthe typical slope, it can provide the reference value to the similar slope.So far, several kinds of methods have been developed to analyze the slope stability,including limit equilibrium method, limit analysis, strength reduction method, etc. The limitequilibrium method is used widely in slope stability analysis both in home and abroad. Thestrength reduction method, which is based on numerical calculation, has a rapid developmentwith the development of the computer science. Based on the other researchers’ achievements,use the strength reduction method to analyze the slope stability so that research applied can berelated to practical engineering.The slope of shiyan-tianshui highway’s Fengjiaba toll station is a typical slope mixedwith soil and rock. On the basement of FengJiaBa Slope governance monitoring, use themethod of finite element strength reduction in Midas/gts software, analyze the stability of theslope excavation process and effect of slope reinforcement and protective measures, Establishdifferent construction stages curve slope safety factor. In the process of Landslide Prevention,wo analyze the displacement by governance the slope surface, then compare the actual datawith the numerical analysis of displacement. Comprehensive analysis the change of the safefactor curve and displacement, we analyze the slope stability and the effect of slopereinforcement and protective measures.Hope the entire process analysis of the stability and design, excavation, governance,monitoring of Fengjiaba toll station landslide can offer some help to construction andprotection of such mountain landslide.
