| In recent years, highway industry in our country has developed rapidly. A large numberof continuous rigid frame bridges are built in the central and western regions. With theimprovement of calculation methods and construction technology, the spans of continuousrigid frame bridges are getting bigger and the piers are getting higher. And also, the seismicresponse becomes more and more complex. Therefore, the seismic response analysis and thestudy of seismic methods for continuous rigid frame bridges are significant.In this paper, we analysis a continuous rigid frame bridge.Based on the basic theory ofseismic response analysis, two methods including spectrum response analysis andtime-history analysis of earthquake are applied to the bridge. The main contents are as follows:Using finite element software MIDAS to establish a spatial finite element model of the bridgestructure,and carry out modal analysis, considering the interaction between pile and soil; Itconducts the response spectrum analysis and compares the results of restricting-all-the-DOFsmodel and the model which considers the interaction between pile and soil; To find out a moresecure method, this paper also compare the results of response spectrum analysis and timehistory analysis; To research the effect of friction pendulum bearings for continuous rigidframe bridges, we use FPBs to replace pot bearings and analyze their vibration isolationperformances by calculating the rate of vibration isolation.At the end of this paper, all the analysis is summarized,and the problems needed to besolved are pointed out. |
