The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge under construction is a world-class project which hasa strategic significance for the country. The main part of this project is a bridge-tunnel project, theimmersed tube tunnel between two man-made island has a total length of6km.The pavementstructure is different from those in general tunnel and has a special construction environment,which determines the peculiarity and complexity of pavement construction. The quality of tunnelpavement which is greatly decided by the construction organization affects the service level ofHong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, so it is necessary to study the pavement constructionorganization of this immersed tube tunnel.By analyzing the characters of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao tunnel pavement, the basicprinciples and the evaluation system of the construction of the tunnel pavement are put forward,based on which the tunnel pavement construction technology, construction process and mainconstruction machines configuration are researched. Optimization research for tunnel pavementconstruction organization is based on the relevant theory of construction organization.The major projects of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao tunnel pavement should be carried out inthe order of pavement base paving,maurer expansion joints installation,stress absorbing layerpaving,lower layer paving,TST expansion joints installation and top layer paving. The pavementconstruction technology and main mechanical configuration should be based on maturetechnology and theory and make a adjustment and selection according to the special structure oftunnel pavement and the particularity construction environment. Combined with constructionmethod of the tunnel pavement structure, the construction organization alternatives of HongKong-Zhuhai-Macao tunnel pavement are compared and selected by grey analytic hierarchyprocess. The optimized construction organization plan which is suitable forHongkong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge tunnel pavement is put forward.
