In order to achieve high profit, high quality and reliable security, construction organization design compiled by construction enterprises is more commonly the optimal solution from a set of scheme selection. For many of the proposed set of construction scheme, how to use scientific means for the construction organization design comparison, and what methods to use for optimizing the time limit for a project, making the construction organization design more practical to guide the construction, have become the most urgent problems for construction enterprises.In order to make the construction organization design of the project operable and instructional, this article first made a systematic introduction to the construction organization design theory, Scheme comparison theory and time optimization theory. Then, studied scheme comparison method and the duration optimization method of the construction project organization design. Proposed that using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) to construct the evaluation index system of construction organization design scheme, that use comprehensive grey correlation degree method to appraise the construction organization design scheme, and that apply improved key chain method to optimize the duration of the construction projects. And, apply the method of the scheme comparison and the method of duration optimization based on critical chain into construction organization design scheme comparison and duration optimization of Dingzi river bridge project.This paper, by using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method and grey correlation method to establish a comparison model of construction organization design scheme, combined with improved critical chain technology, respectively put forward constructing thoughts of the project schedule optimization model from determination of critical chain, calculation of project buffer, the calculation of shuttle buffer, Resource buffer Settings etc. under the project resource conflict, providing experience and basis for the project construction organization design scheme comparison in the future. The processing results of this method can scientifically and accurately present the real results of the project, having a certain theoretical and practical significance.
