Vibration, temperature and pollution constitute the three main factors of theultra-precision machining. Vibration is almost everywhere in the processing field. Especiallyin the high-speed high-finishing occasions, vibration becomes the main factor that affect themachining accuracy of the system.The traditional vibration control method can not work well when the frequency of thevibration interference is less than or equal to the natural frequency of the processing system.And to the complex random variation interference, passive vibraion rejection system can notdo well either due to the fixed structural parameters in it. So we researched the activevibration control system.In this paper, the active vibration rejection system increase a voice coil motor(VCM)actuator in the passive one. The vibration signal of the vibration control target that measuredby the acceleration sensor inputed to the controller after analyzed and processed, which cangenerates driving signal of the actuator. The actuator can output a force(or torque) ordisplacement with the control of the driving signal, which can counteract or suppress thevibration displacement response of the vibration control target to achieve the purpose ofvibration rejection. Active vibration rejection system can track the vibration signal of theobject in real time because of the vibration signal measuring system, which can reject orcontrol the object’s vibration in real time. So the active vibration rejection system can controlthe vibration with established frequency, and it can also control the vibration with frequencyof random variation, which overcome the shortage of the passive vibration rejection system.The active vibration rejection system with6degree of freedom based on VCM weresearched can reject the vibration interference in both the horizontal direction and theVertical direction and at the same time, the vibration control in these two directions isindependent and decoupled, which makes the control simple. So there is a very wide range ofpractical value in the actual production.The working principle of the passive and active vibration rejection system was reseachedin the paper. Structural design of the active vibration rejection system was introduced and thecontrol method of the vibration control system and the cntrol algorithm of the voice coilmotor were presented. Then the experiments and the simulation proved that the activevibration rejection system is better than passive vibration rejection system. At the same time,they proved the rtionality of the design of the control method in the vibration rejection systemand the feasibility of the design of the system and the significance of the study.
