In recent years, with the bridge technology development, the novel structure increasinglypopularization, the past is mainly used for long-span cable-stayed bridge in the structure ofthe small and medium span Bridges especially the urban bridge design gradually obtained thepeople’s attention. And small and medium span beam plate and arch bridge type, comparedwith large cable-stayed bridge across ability, and the structure of modelling more beautiful.Compared with small and medium span suspension bridge, cable-stayed bridge without cableanchor structure, more easy to achieve greater carrying capacity. And with the development oftechnology, small and medium-sized span cable-stayed bridge in the competitiveness of theeconomy also gradually improve. In addition, because span small, medium and small spancable-stayed bridge structure design are relatively simple, the construction of the technicallevel of the requirements and more low, so the structure form is more changeable, bridgeadaptation ability is stronger. These advantages are decided to a cable-stayed bridge bridgetype in medium and small span bridge construction has the broad application prospect.And across a wide rivers and deep long span cable stayed bridge, compared with thestructure of the small and medium span cable-stayed bridge design and construction althoughrelatively simple, but does not represent its design and construction can simple roughtreatment. Based on this background, for small andmedium-sized span cable-stayed bridge design theory to do more detailed analysis and study,for small and medium span cable-stayed bridge in the popularization and application of thetheory to do some more fully preparation is very necessary.This paper first in the collection, the reorganization of xinjiang has built on the basis ofthe cable-stayed bridge material, through detailed introduce some of the more representativeof the cable-stayed bridge engineering background and design, construction, draw the outlineof cable-stayed bridge in the development of xinjiang history and construction situation, makepeople in xinjiang to the development of the cable-stayed bridge has a clear understanding.Later, respectively for small and medium-sized span concrete single pylon cable-stayedbridge and medium and small span concrete towers cable-stayed bridge design made detailedresearch. Through a lot of calculation and data analysis theoretically proved that the middleand small span concrete cable-stayed bridge, the rationality of the stress and structure of thesuperiority. These design research, while because too concrete and has a lot of limitations, butthese design research as a series of detailed example, in bridge design workers still to have thecertain reference value for early cable-stayed bridge design personnel is also a very goodlearning reference material.
