In recent years, power supply technique has made many achievements and great progressnot only in theory research but also in production application. It is in the line with the trendthat present power supply is needed miniaturization, low-cost, high-frequency-based andefficient. Bi-directional DC/DC Converter can be used to replace two parallel DC/DCconverter in the situation which need two-way flow of energy,so it can reduce the size andweight of equipment, and lower the costs.At first, the conception and principle of the Bi-directional DC/DC converter arepresented, and its work in definite applications is explained. A novel topological structure ofBi-directional DC/DC Converter is designed, which is used in uninterruptible powersupply system. The topology circuit is involved of the push-pull boost and the full-bridgebuck circuit, it can realize the soft-switching of the power devices. The PWM phase shiftcontrol is proposed in the Buck mode. The soft-switching condition of the leading leg and thelagging leg is approximately calculated and finished. Regarding to the topology of the circuit,the hardware circuit parameters are designed in this circuit. Fuzzy adaptive parameters ofPID controller can adjust the parameters of PID timely for the current output signalchanges, and simulated by MATLAB to test effect of control. Then TMS320LF2812DSPof TI was used for chip of circuit, and the software of designing was carried out. The flowchart and the program are completely finished in the parts of the article. Finally, thebidirectional DC/DC converter is simulated using MATLAB software in theexperimental part. An experimental prototype is made. The experimental results show that thebi-directional DC/DC converter can be improved in this article.
