In the aerospace field, bearings work in complex and space environment. Toensure the normal work of the whole system, it needs to analyze the performance ofbearings in harsh environmental conditions. It is very important to choose the righttype of bearings and determine a reasonable form of lubrication and seal. It alsowants to analyze various factors which affect the bearing. In this article, mechanicalanalysis of bearing at high/low temperature conditions is studied. Lubrication andseal of bearings is designed. The frictional torque of bearings is tested on theexperimental conditions.Firstly, the basic structure of bearings is determined on the base of motor’ssize. Combined with the finite element software, the effect of interference fit,temperature and load is determined. Then, the contact angle of bearings, thedistribution of internal load and the magnitude of the stress is calculated.Based on the exist technology, lubrication and seal of bearings is designed onthe specific conditions. In the aspect of lubrication, we mainly test the performanceof grease at high/low temperature. In the aspect of seal, we mainly design the sealof bearings and peripheral seal structure of bearings. The frictional torque ofbearings is calculated, combined with lubrication of bearings.In this paper, we develop the test platform of frictional torque to achievefrictional torque of bearings, which is very large sometimes. In order to avoid thetest error of frictional torque, we design air bearing to bear load. Force transducer isused to monitor the force. Last, we grasp the technology of testing frictional torqueof bearings accurately.Using frictional torque test platform of bearings, we test the frictional torqueof bearings at different speeds, load, temperature and grease. Signal processing isused to signal. By the analysis of the experiment, we find the trends of variousfactors which can affect the frictional torque. According to results of frictionaltorque, we can determine the main factors which affect frictional torque of bearingsmostly. In the future, experimental data of bearings can provide a reliable basis inpractice.
