The building energy-consumption accounts for a significant proportion of thetotal social energy consumption. In recent years, every country in the world inenergy-efficient buildings research with the rapid popularization of energy-savingideas. As a major component part of the retaining structure, the external wall ofbuilding occupies a large proportion. The masonry sandwich wall as a kind of newbuilding energy-saving walls has advantages either gives the wall protection to theexternal environment through the outer wythe while less demanding on the strengthof insulation materials. In the cold regions, it shows an excellent performance andgood heat preservation effect. However, according to the current domestic sandwichmasonry wall application status, some of the existing disadvantages seriouslyrestrict its promotion. The paper integrated consideration of building, structure,thermal, humidity, durability and other factors, presents a new type of thermalinsulation masonry sandwich wall, and its research and analysis for the existingproblems of masonry sandwich wall.This paper summarizes the existing disadvantage factors of the traditionalsandwich wall in the promotion and use, combined with the present more commonlyused building materials, put forward a new type of thermal insulation masonrysandwich wall which using the integral casting structure on the inner wythe wall,polystyrene foam plastic insulation board (EPS board) on intermediate insulationlayers and adopting W type block with openings on the outer wythe wall. And thenthe ANSYS finite element software is adopted to simulate the temperature field ofthe actual walls. For the wall thermal bridges as well as the representative of theposition, the wall structure charts of ring beam and the window location are given.This paper comes up with cantilevering beam in the position of ring beam, andgives detailed analysis to its security. In order to improve the thermal insulationperformance, foam concrete is introduced in the window position.According to the form of wall insulation, the range of well condensation andmoisture weight increment of thermal insulation material are calculated by usingvapor permeation method. And through test and analysis to the wall inside the wetsteam and moisture transfer process external environment constructed by full scalespecimen experiments, the structural form of the wall piece proved to have goodmoisture transfer capability and can effectively reduce the risks of poor heatpreservation effect and wall durability caused by wall condensation. This solvedengineering problems in wall exhaust of moisture and ventilation. The finiteelement analysis showed that the exhaust of moisture effect will be more pronounced in the outdoor environment under the premise of windy and in the localmetope air flow conditions.Through a comprehensive analysis of wall heat transfer and dehumidificationconditions, combined with the higher safety performance characteristics of structureitself has, the thermal insulation masonry sandwich wall can vary well fit for thenorth cold region, suitable for popularization and application.
