| With the increasing application of the slurry balance shield, the problems causedby it during construction become more and more serious. Research on the controltechnology of slurry balance shield construction, regulation of shield construction onthe surrounding environment, and especially the interrelationship of the slurrybalance shield driven side by side are of great significance.Based on the project of the Tunnel of Dalian Road, the influence on thesurrounding soil, influence on the adjacent existingtunnels and the interrelationship ofthe slurry balance shield driven side by side were researched. Some results wereobtained through the theoretical analysis, numercal simulation, model tests and fieldtests:(1) The numercal simulation showed that when the slurry pressure was close tothe earth pressure at rest, the excavation face would be more stable and the maxvertical displacement of the earth surface was0.12mm.(2) The model tests and field tests showed that the incision pressure was themain factor that affected the settlement of the surface, and the incision pressure valueaffected the soil sand contents directly(3) The theoretical analysis showed that the influence range of the slurry balanceshield while driving was7~10rings. The field tests datas showed that the influencerange of the slurry balance shield while driving was8~10rings.(4) The interrelationship of the slurry balance shield driven side by side wasresearched by the field tests. The interrelationship contained the deformation of pilesand surrounding soil, the soil and water pressure and so on. It showed that thesuitable span would reduce the interrelationshipThe presented results were succeefully applid in the practical project, and it canbe adopted for similar projects in the future. |
