Vehicle yaw stability control system is an active safety control system, which canensure the vehicle lateral stability by preventing oversteer, understeer and slip at highvelocity. It is the focus of modern electronic security controls. At present, the vehicleyaw stability control obtains the fast development in foreign countries, which has begunto equip on senior cars. However, the research in this field in China is still in the initialstage, so it can make up the blank of technology in our country, and broad applicationprospects to study the vehicle yaw stability control.The dissertation adequately summarized the domestic and foreign research results inthe vehicle yaw stability control system. Based on the design process of vehicle yawstability control system, the following issues are discussed in detail: the basic principles,models, control methods and strategies, and carried on the validation by simulation to thedesigned control system.With improving the vehicle’s high-speed steering handing stability when driving ondifferent type-road friction coefficient, a yvc aw stability control system is proposed.First, considering the vehicle dynamics, it is established a linear desired vehicle model of2-DOF, and established a hydraulic system regulator. The yaw rate and the sideslip angle areselected as the control object which can mostly reflect vehicle stability, in addition, discussed therelationship between parameters and the vehicle stability. Then using the differential braking,the control strategy based on sliding mode variable structure control theory is proposed,the control algorithm of the vehicle yaw stability controller is studied and their controlmodules are established.In the co-simulation platforms with CarSim and Matlab/Simulink,simulationexperiment is carried on the vehicle model with different controller and the vehicle withor without control system. The impact of the control quality by the practical applicationand the controlling parameters of vehicle yaw stability control is applied with emergencydouble lane change in different specifically road conditions.The simulation results show the correctness of the model, the steady-state steeringcharacteristics is effectively improved by the vehicle yaw stability control system,meanwhile the vehicle driving safety performance is improved. This vehicle yaw stabilitycontrol system provides a reference control strategy for further research, and has thecertain reference value for the future actual vehicle experiment....
