With the development of land transportation in the past40years. Curved girders havebeen widely used in the field of city and highway bridges. Compared with straight beamsbecause of the influence of curvature of the beams, the curved girders will have coupledaction of bending with torsion,making the calcution of the internal force and deformationof a curved beam more complicated.This paper studied on the structural stability of curved prestressed composite girderwith corrugated steel webs. Firstly, on the basis of comparative analysis of previous study,this article further summarized the structural system of composite box girder withcorrugated steel webs and basic mechanical properties. Then, the influencing factors ofcorrugated steel webs in shear buckling bearing capacity were elaborated. Calculationmethod of three failure modes of the shear buckling of corrugated steel webs and otherrelated theories were elucidated. Base on the specific characteristics of composite boxgirder with corrugated steel webs, using ANSYS model, the shear stability and bendingstability in corrugated steel webs were analyzed in this paper. Discussed influence aboutthe variation of load form. Then, discussed curvature change and the ratio of height towidth change on the shear stability and bending stability in corrugated steel webs bychanging load type and model size.The instructive conclusion was: The shearing capacity of curved prestressedcomposite girder with corrugated steel webs with increasing of the radius of curvatureincreases; and increased substantially larger, under the same of radius curvature, theshearing capacity resistance load coefficient of curved prestressed composite girder withcorrugated steel webs with decreased of beam hight increase, the shearing capacityresistance load coeffient of curved prestressed composite girder with corrugated steelwebs with decreased of beam hight increase, the radius curvature more, the rate ofreduction larger, the high-order is greater than low-order with beam hight changes affect.On the other hand, the bending stability of curved prestressed composite girder withcorrugated steel webs with increasing of curvature radius; because of the curvedprestressed composite girder with corrugated steel webs is mainly controlled by steel webs;with the heigh of beam increase, due to top and bottom plate not be changed, the webheight increased, the bending stiffness in-plant with the relevant of materials and wavehight only, does not change with beam hight increased, but the web height increaseinevitably lead to bending stability decline, therefore, the whole bending resistance load coefficient decreased with beam high, and the high-order is greater than low-order withbeam hight changes affect.The study on the structural stability of curved prestressed composite girder withcorrugated steel webs, will be distribute the far-ranging study and building of the sametype box-girder bridge in China.
