Large-scale office building generally refers to the building for government office, public organization, enterprise and institution to deal with administrative affairs and all kinds of business activities. China’s government office and large-scale public building total area is about400-500million square meters, accounting for less than4%of the total area of the urban construction, but its energy consumption has accounted for22%of the total electricity consumption of China’s urban construction. Therefore, this type of building has the characteristic of high energy consumption. At the same time, large-scale office building has an intensive and large number of personnel, the space of building is relatively closed, indoor environmental quality is low, many workers may suffer from sick building syndrome. Thus, energy consumption and indoor environmental quality are two extremely important issues in the large-scale office building.To solve the problems of energy consumption and indoor environmental quality in large-scale office building, firstly, a collection terminal is designed for wireless monitoring of large-scale office building energy consumption and indoor environmental quality in the research, which can achieve wireless monitoring of energy consumption data and indoor environmental quality parameter categorized data; secondly, a low-power modular embedded ZigBee/Ethernet gateway is designed. The gateway can receive the energy consumption and indoor environmental quality data sent by acquisition network and realize remote data transmission to the monitoring center, or connect to the Internet network with other network devices and achieve network publicity of large-scale office building energy consumption and environmental quality data; Then, the data of energy consumption and indoor environment quality are used for analysing and modelling based on the theroy of Support Vector Machine, and building energy consumption prediction and indoor environment quality evaluation are realized by matlab software; finally, with reference to our country building energy consumption and indoor environment quality standards and guidelines, the monitoring and evaluaing management information system of large-scale office buildings is developped based on the VB software, which can realize real-time dynamic monitoring of large office buildings with energy consume and indoor environmental quality status.The research on wireless monitoring system of large-scale office building energy consumption and indoor environment quality, not only monitored energy consumption and indoor environmental quality of the large office building accurately, but also promoted the large-scale office building for saving energy and reducing consumption, and created healthy, comfortable and efficient indoor environment quality provides scientific methods and technical support.
