Our country is a seismic multiple country, which earthquake happens frequently inrecent years. So the mitigation work must be done urgently. Steel structure becomes a mainstructure in our country which has a rapid development. Under this background, themitigation work for the steel structure is particularly important. The statements and actionsof steel frame structure are good, but the lateral resistance behavior is not better than thesteel frame structure with supports. The frame structure with supports can be divided intothree classes,the center support steel frame structure system, the eccentric support steelframe structure system and the knee brace support steel frame structure system. Due to thecenter support steel frame structure system can be buckling easily under the action ofrepeated horizontal force, and the dissipation capacity is relatively poor.Although theeccentric support steel frame structure system makes up for the deficiency of the centralsupport frame, but the beams of the main structure become anti-lateral force memberswhich could be prone to failure.And the repair work has the certain difficulty and cost ishigh.So knee brace support steel frame structure system is developed.This article is about the knee brace support steel frame structure system. Someconclusion is draw through the pseudo—static testing, and then some comparative studiesare worked out. Using ansys to research the difference between several common kneebrace support steel frame structure with different positions. At last get the summary of thestructure analysis.At the sane time puts forward the author’s opinions and Suggestions ofthe knee brace support steel frame structure system.
