| Owing to its unique excellent performance, Spiral bevel gear is widely used inintersecting axes transmission that is high-speed and heavy-load. With the developmentof science and technology, it is more and more urgent to seek stability and high strengthperformance in a pair of spiral bevel gears. Combination of several methods, such asnon-zero-modification, the local synthesis method and TCA designs machiningparameter of spiral bevel gear, which is good for high contact ratio in this paper. As aresult, high intensity of the spiral bevel gears was obtained and this design method cancorrect the shortage of non-zero-modification design, which contact ratio declines withmeshing angle increasing. The main research contents of this article are as follows:1Based on the design principle of non-zero-modification, the gears tooth surfaceequation was derived. According to the formula of tooth surface equation, the toothpoint was obtained by VB and MATLAB. Compared the non-zero-modification gearwith conventional zero-modification gear by TCA and Adjusting the design parameters,then non-zero-modification of spiral bevel gear pair that have high strength and highcontact ratio can be obtained.2Establishing the3d model of the non-zero-modification gear pair, usingkinematical simulation to check the interference and compared the tooth root stress ofthe non-zero-modification design with the conventional zero-modification design underthe senior simulation, the results show that the bending stress of thenon-zero-modification gear was reduced by19.1%at the side of the conventionalzero-modification design.3The tooth machining experiments of the high-strength non-zero-modificationspiral bevel gear is done. Completing the non-zero-modification spiral bevel gearmachining on the GH-35milling machine after calculating the machining parameters of the designed gear, the location and shape of the contact area were viewed onY9550-type rolling test machine. The results show that the process parameters arecorrect and the tooth surface contact patch is good.4Measuring the error of tooth surface on the JD45+gear measuring instrument,the results show that the precision of tooth surface is good and machining parametersare correct. Therefore, this design is successful.Through the study to design the non-zero-modification spiral bevel gear, the3dmodel, processing experiment and measurement result in this article, expected resultswere obtained and the theory that is mentioned in this paper was verified. |
