In the karst area of highway construction,in order to meet the needs of the highwayalignment,along the highway to the karst region,which leads to route development part of thebridge pile foundation in karst area. In order to ensure the reasonable design and operation ofthe bridge safety,further study of the karst area of the pile foundation of the load-bearingcharacteristics and working performance is very necessary.Based on part of the experts and scholars before the papers and materials,the cave areabridge pile foundation vertical axial load under the action of load characteristics,and usingfinite element analysis software,the bridge pile foundation in karst different pile length andpile diameter,different karst cave and hole high across the load transfer mechanism andbearing characteristics of numerical calculation,it is concluded that the bearing capacity ofpile foundation in karst bridge change rule,and by using the grey theory to karst cave scaleeffect on the bearing capacity of analysis.Theoretical analysis,numerical analysis and greytheory results,according to the characteristics of the bridge pile foundation in karst cave,thecave area pile foundation design and construction parts of the proposal is put forward.The paper results in karst bridge pile foundation design and construction technologyprovides the scientific basis,it has certain practical value and theoretical significance.
