As the accuracy of ultra-precision machining and measuring equipment keeps improving,the requirement for the processing and measuring environment has been demanded to bemore specific. Ground vibration is a key factor affecting the accuracy. The precision activevibration isolation system achieves good vibration isolation effects and possesses a widerfrequency band of vibration isolation. The control system is a key part of the precisionvibration isolation system. The performance of the control system would directly influencethe effect of the vibration isolation system.This thesis studied the single degree-of-freedom(DOF) precision vibration isolator,analyzed the operation principle of the single DOF vibration isolator and derived atheoretical model. Based on the model, the feedback controller based on PID algorithm andthe feedforward controller based on adaptive algorithm were designed. To prove therightness of the feedforward controller, a simulation system was operated.To meet the control requirements of the vibration isolation, the overall hardware frameworkfor the controller was designed. The requirements for sensor part, driver part and controlpart were put forward. Comparison and choices for sensors, drivers and control kernel partwere given and a signal processing circuit was designed.Also, the software requirements for the control system were given. Windows XPe and RTXwere chosen to be the software development environment. After the overall softwareframework was given, the real-time driver module, shared memory module andhuman-interface module were designed in detail.Finally, the structure of the experiment table and the test methods were introduced. Thehardware and software for the control system as well as the designed controller were tested.The experimental results proved that the control system could meet the control requirements for the vibration isolator.
