In recent years, the economic is weak, and the competition for Air ConditioningEnterprise is fierce. So there is an urgent demand for Air Conditioning Enterprise to do thefollowing when some new products are to be researched: while optimizing theperformance of product, the level of research and development should be improved, theR&D cycle should be shorten and the R&D costs should be saved. Compared withexperiment, there are many irreplaceable advantages for refrigeration system simulation.Unitary air-conditioner system is relatively simple, and there is important significance forit to carry out the combined with the refrigeration system simulation research during theactual development process.Combining the working principle of unitary air-conditioner refrigeration system withsome latest research results at home and abroad, the refrigeration system is analyzed andthe simulation models of heat transfer medium, compressor, heat exchangers, throttlecomponents, pipes and charge inventory modeled by using the Visual C++programminglanguage. After simulated individually, these models are interconnected jointly into theentire refrigeration system. The refrigeration system is simulated by using specified thedegree of subcooling and the degree of superheat, designated the degree of superheat andrefrigerant charge inventory as well as designated refrigerant charge inventory andthrottling short tube respectively. The simulation calculation process respectively from thehigh side and low side two direction, and the Newton iterative algorithm is employed. Thethree types of unitary air-conditioners are calculated on B conditions by specified thedegree of subcooling and the degree of superheat method, and the calculation is combinedwith experimental data for modification and optimization. On the basis of the new model,the prediction calculation is given with the designated refrigerant charge inventory andthrottling short tube for the A conditions, the performance parameter precision of allrefrigeration systems is within3.5%.The refrigeration system simulation research of unitary air-conditioner gets goodresults. This will damagingly reduce the numbers of experiment, and will considerablyshorten the R&D cycle and save the R&D costs. Consequently, it can meet therequirement of the Air conditioner Enterprise, and has the practical potential.
