In recent years, nanomaterials has become a hot topic in materials science researchbecause of its exceptional performance. As a new rapid sintering technology, Pulse currentsintering can effectively prevent surface diffusion and grain coarsening to expectedultrafine even nanostructures. This paper designs a pulse current sintering power accordingto the requirements of the pulse current sintering,provides a experimental platform for theresearch of pulse current sintering process and mechanism.This paper first introduces the status and development direction of the current pulsecurrent sintering power at home and abroad, and clarifies the need for this research and theresearch content. Then, in accordance with the requirements of the power supply design, aphase shift full bridge ZVS converter is selected as the power supply topology. Afterdetailed analysis of the work process and circuit characteristics, the part three calculates thekey parameters of the main circuit and simulates the main circuit.In the hardware design of the control system, TI’s TMS320F2812is chosen as the corecontrol chip, and the hardware circuit is designed on the base. In the software design, theincremental PI control algorithm is used to closed-loop control of the output current. Inaddition, the designs of the overvoltage and under-voltage protection, IGBT’s over-currentand overheating protection, soft start function improve the reliability of the power supply.Finally, based on the above analysis and design,14V/700power supply prototype issuccessfully developed. The power and sintering system is tested and three amorphousalloy sintering experiments are completed. The analysis results of the power waveform andsintered samples and sintering temperature show that the power system is designedreasonably and has achieved the desired electrical performance requirements, it wouldprovide a research platform for pulse current sintering technology.
