Solar and wind energy which is the inexhaustible green energy is harmless to the Earth’senvironment and. In recent years, the solar and wind power generation have been a lot ofdevelopment, but most of the solar power generation is limited to the flat-panel photovoltaicpower generation, without using focusing sunlight and splitting spectrum techniques. Andpower generation using gathering wind is even more less. Both of them have the drawback ofdiscontinuous generation and can-not be exploited at the same time and place. Therefore, thisthesis aims to do exploratory research on key techniques of the integrated power generationwith split-spectrum focusing sunlight and gathering wind, introducing splitting spectrum andgathering wind technologies into concentrating photovoltaic power generation.At the beginning, this thesis describes the basic process of split-spectrum concentratingphotovoltaic power generation, and the basic principles and structure classification of themajor parts. Then it summarizes related knowledge of the wind and air dynamics for windpower generation, and analyzes the startup principle, rotational principle and aerodynamiccharacteristics of wind turbine as well as the basic principle of gathering wind powergeneration. On this basis, the thesis proposes a design proposal of the integrated powergeneration system with reflective-type focusing sunlight and horizontal axis gathering wind,and discusses its operational process in detail.In addition, this thesis mainly researches the lateral spectrum splitting with a triple prism,studying its dispersion principle from the prism materials, analyzing its spectral processaccording to the geometrical optics theory, establishing the lateral spectrum splitting model ofprism and simulating through MATLAB programming to study the spatial distribution of thesplitting spectrum. Thus, it will be convenient and fast to determine the size of concentratingsolar cells for the corresponding wavelength band.Moreover, the thesis makes a thorough study on the flow field characteristics and thegathering wind effect of the unit for focusing sunlight and gathering wind which is a keystructure of the system, based on the Fluent fluid analysis module of ANSYS Workbench14.0platform. The research shows that the amplification of wind power increasing with wind speedis greater than gathering before. And the gathering wind effect is evident and relevant to thewind speed. Furthermore wind rotor efficiency can also be improved after gathering.
