Study On Concept Expression In Memorial Hall Of Fame Design

The determination of design concept is the entry point for an architecture design andthe core for a series of design work after that. Different from other types of architecture,the design concept of memorial hall of fame is associated with the people who arecommemorated, and the concept should be refined from the character of the fames. Afterresolving the design concept, design work begins around it. Through the cases study, thearticle summarizes the feasible ways to explore the design concept, which includeparticular cultural background, special experience and important contribution to society.For the expression of concept, themes which can be performance include sitecharacterization, spatial narrative, abstract forms and geographical communion. Finally,this article points out that, in architectural practice, the applications of these approach arecomprehensive, diverse and focus on the main problem.
