Landscape resource have always been one of the most crucial element in mountainresort hotel design. In order to make the scenery more visible to the tourists, architectureshould minimize its impact on the environment, at the same time provide visual access ofthe scenery to its users. In traditional design process of mountain resort hotel, the diagramand analysis of the visual availability remains in2D space, the decisions are generallymade empirically. In this method, the complexity and controversy of the geographyelement of the mountain are not fully exposed to designer. This article introduced aworkflow combining parametric design with traditional design method can datumizelandscape resources and visual availability and present them to designers to help makingdecisions.
