Amphibious vehicle can drive not only on the road but also on the river, it is a specialvehicle. It not only has the character when car drive on the road, which are motive andnimble, but also it has the feature when car drive on the river, which are speed andconcealed. But the speed of driving on the river which is always important factor restrictedthe amphibious vehicle’s development. While the speed on the water is depend on thenavigation water resistance、water jet propulsion efficiency and engine power output. Butdue to the development of engine power has face the “bottleneck” and the propellertechnology has been mature, so we should put forward a new way which can reduce theresistance and improve the speed based on navigation water resistance.The article first use combined modeling method to build various area and varioussharp model of amphibious vehicle in UG; and then we use the HYPERMESH combine thecalculated speed and calculated accuracy to divide the unit; then we use FLUENT softwareto numerical simulation of amphibious vehicle’s viscous flow filed in different driveconditions. The analysis results show that the body sharp and the wheel have biggerinfluence on test flow field; the change of vehicle action unit can reduce the resistance ofamphibious vehicle drive on the water; and at last it proved that the change of drivingcondition has bigger influence on resistance, and the article give some test data. Thus provethe value of tire keep device.Based on these, we combine the advantages of vector method and the geometricmethod, and use the limited rotation tensor law to build accurate statics and dynamicsmathematical model of wheel keep device. Then I put forward using niche geneticalgorithm in the former optimize design of wheel keep device, to reduce the disadvantagesof artificial parameter set, reduce the design cycle and improve the design efficiency. Alsowe use the coordinate selection character of niche genetic algorithm to optimizemulti-objective calculate based on wheel keep device. And also design a new set ofspecial oil and gas spring system using on amphibious vehicle, and this help to make thewheels on the way down, pack up the water, control the function of body height. The springsystem can automatically adapt to the changing of driving force and pressure change, and itprovides the safe when you drive on the road.We also based on ADAMS software’s analysis and simulation characters, then buildvarious amphibious vehicle wheel keep device dynamics simulation model, to prove thepossibility of results optimized by the algorithm mentioned in former article. Thesimulation result shows that: the result calculated by niche genetic algorithm has betterdynamic movement character, and it meets the requirements driving on the road; also itproved that this method can optimize the complex space structure parameters. Comparingwith traditional design method, this method is more simple and flexible, we only needseveral vehicle’s basic parameters, then we can complete the selection of the wholesuspension guide structure’s parameters, and at last we can get the best structure in thewhole area.
