Dry-type transformers as a transformer, has a simple structure, easy maintenance, longlife, high reliability, high flame resistance, etc., has been widely used in industrial, militaryand urban construction. However, dry-type transformers also has its shortcomings. Thequality factors, the most important point is the temperature. When faced with failure orexcessive ambient temperatures and inadequate ventilat, transformer will overheat,resulting in more than winding insulation heat temperature, while it destroyed, resulting inunnecessary losses. Therefore, in the daily operation of dry-type transformers, the need tojoin the monitoring of transformer winding temperature of the device, if the temperatureexceeds the limit value, the police, or drive fans or air-conditioning cooling device, it is verynecessary. Currently, dry-type transformers temperature monitoring system is to vestable operation of dry-type transformers normally an important component.This complete set of microcontroller as the core dry-type transformers temperaturedetector constructed including the detection, communication, display and alarm functionsand integrated monitoring system, the system in order the temperature sensor DS18B20,and the use of nRF905RF Wireless communication devices, to achieve long distancetransmission of temperature data, you can not use the site cabling and transformersenvironmental restrictions. The system starts from the hardware circuit design, the gradualcompletion of the circuit structures, software design PC monitoring application design, thefinal completion of a set of dry-type transformers temperature controller chip.After the completion of the design, the use of a dry-type transformer OLTC temperaturerise test, to verify that the dry-type transformer temperature controller chip reliability andpracticality. Temperature rise test method using simulated load test to simulate the loadtemperature rise test method is divided into two parts, one for the load test, in part for theload test, load test, the microcontroller ’s a DS18B20temperature sensor core temperature, aDS18B20sensor detects a phase low voltage coil temperature. Thermometer in the load testof a sensor to detect the upper temperature phase A voltage coil, the other a lower detection phase A voltage coil temperature. DS18B20sensor measurement is completed by the sendingterminal nRF905transmit wireless signals to a receiving terminal, the terminal then receivesthe data transmitted to the host unit, the completion of data reception. Ultimately validated bythe experimental data, dry-type transformers temperature controller chip practica ity andreliability.
