Cross dynamicdamping technology in a novel, low consumables, shock absorption effect is obviouscharacteristics such as more and more get the attention of structural engineers, attractedthe attention of many researchers structure at the same time, has become a researchhotspot in the field of engineering seismic.This paper from the cutting motion of the concept of structural damping, shockabsorption principle of the analysis and the research results at home and abroad,introduction of column buckling constraints put dynamic damping structure in high-risesteel frame structure, the application of research. First introduced a concept of columnbuckling constraints put dynamic mechanism and the cutting principle of dynamicmechanism, in the structure of the layout, modeling in SAP2000software made adetailed research. In addition to a12storey steel frame structure as an example, throughthe finite element analysis software SPA2000respectively established the traditionalpure steel frame structure, the building level X direction to add the BRC column at thebottom of the cross structure, the building level Y direction to add the BRC column atthe bottom of the cross structure three models, respectively, analyzes the structure ofthese three schemes in EL-Centro wave, Taft wave and TRITREASURE ISLAND90these three seismic response under seismic action. Column in this paper, the bucklingconstraints put dynamic damping structure two aspects of research, is a high-rise steelframe structure is studied in applying the BRC cross dynamic damping technology atthe time of the earthquake response analysis; Two is the placement of a BRC cylinderposition with the length-width ratio of building, and the relationship between theseismic wave direction, and according to the preliminary building, site conditions andbuilding itself to skip dynamic buckling constraint column form of optimization.Results show that the BRC structure compared with the traditional steel structure, thenatural vibration period increased, the control of top displacement and base shearbiggest effect is very obvious, at the same time, draw a cross dynamic damping technique applied to the structure of the plane in aspect ratio and building area there is aclose relationship between seismic wave propagation direction.
