Nowadays, more people move to the city area from countryside of China. Thereforepeople living in the city area are facing huge stresses from both work and life. They neednot only the orderly and safe traffic condition as well they are willing to enjoy the naturalbeauties along the roadside. They can slow down their hurry steps and merge into thegreenish leisure space to reduce their stress level. Therefore, building a non-vehiclegreenish slow speed view points are really important. This is not only able to provide asafe and enjoyable environment for all the citizens as well can serve as a activity spacefor these people interest in walking, jogging, skating and riding and extra. In recentyears, the traffic congestion and accidents become more serious than before; the mainreason is the increasing number of vehicles. Provide a safe sidewalk for the pedestrianand riding people also can reduce traffic congestion. It is really very crucial thateffectively separate the vehicle and pedestrian and perfect the cross street facilities. Themain objective of this article is to discuss the importance of building the safe andcomfortable side walks for pedestrian and riding people.The research on Langfang city’s landscape of slow-moving traffic system as the mainresearch object, regarding its green landscape design method, configuration of the plant,humanized detail design, and point out the existing problems as well solutions.Investigation was carried out by plants applied on35main roads in Langfang, and visitedthe relevant greening work, summed up the status of landscape design system.Theplant application present situation is:32species of arbor,24species of shrubs,19speciesof herbaceous plants. The actual survey result shows that Langfang City slow green didnot fully meet the stereo planting structure hierarchy to Joe, irrigation, grass and flowers.The35Road which under research including: peace road, Xichang Road and extra.11outof the35road are using the form of planting design of multilayer structure. However,many other road plant is relatively lacking and roadside green space only consist of fewspecies.The lack of color changes in the roadside also need more attention. The surveyfound out that Langfang City slow green public facilities is not perfect, the ramp andblind incomplete because of the damage and illegal occupation. The road signage mostlycompletes but the lack of Braille signage still needs to put effect in. Even though thegreen facilities are relatively perfect, the recreational fitness facilities are much less. Road pavement is lack of features, inadequate slow green lighting facilities; especially the lackof lighting facilities has certain influence on pedestrian. Overall, architecture, landscapesculpture design accords with the city culture environment and road environment.Base on the international theories, we recommended that the importance of humanitywhen designing the side walk. We hope that we are able to contribute in improving citycivilization for better life environment.
