Study On The Design And Application Of Slow-moving Traffic Facilities In Xi'an Urban Street Landscape

The great strides in economics and science and technology continue to refresh people's expectations of material living standards.New patterns and new ideas for urban streets that focus on the quality of humanities and the convenience of transportation have mushroomed.However,the existing urban street-planning methods,which mainly involve the use of motor vehicle traffic,have left all kinds of slow-moving areas to be neglected.The old and stereotypical street environment and facilities cannot meet people's need for slow travel.The gap between the material and cultural needs and the current status of the streets is in urgent need of a set of feasible facilities and landscape design models to fill in and improve.Based on the linear slow-moving spatial characteristics of the streets,the urban landscape is slow and the appearance and function of the street facilities are carried out.Optimized integration of the urban streetscape slow infrastruc.ture design system can perfectly fill this gap,to make up for the lack of street cultural connotation and the lack of functional appearance.Therefore,This paper starts with the practical needs and significance of building the street landscape slow facilities design system,carding the contents of urban street landscape and urban slow line system.Based above to building unique design system for urban street landscape slow facilities,elaborate the concept of this system,elaborate the difference between those system and the existing facilities landscape design methods,elaborate the design principles,system logic as well as the each design specific steps.Under the guidance of this system,we combine street's field and historical investigation and carry out the research results in the whole process of street's facilities and landscape design.Which content includes the design of a street park?road and lane pavement and space planning on both sides?exclusive slow service facilities and many other all.We will take it as sample to verifying the feasibility and practicability of the research results.
