Plant is the most important element and basic of urban green space,it’s composition ofspecies,seasonal changes and ways of planting,are the determinants the landscape effectsand characteristics of the green space and even the entire city.Therefore,the role of thephenology seasonal landscape of the plants in Landscaping increasing.In the article,theauthor applied phenology,theories and methods of landscaping,urban forestry,communityecology,carried out the spot checks of green spaces of Baoding and select a variety ofplants for fixed-point observation,and get a large number of first-hand informations.andcollect phenological observation data of many years, sorting out a variety of plantphenology of the multi-years average， divided the phenological seasons and thephenological phase of Baoding.Explains phenological and landscape feature of eachsection of the phenological seasons, provide a reference for the landscapeagriculturing.Combined with the findings, green comment the landscape effect of differentperiods of the green space of Baoding.Found the problems and raise suggestions forimprovement:Depopulation of overall planning should obey the laws of ecology and thelocal characteristics of the region,Strengthen the introduction of species to enrich thelandscape,and the conservation in order to give full play to the performance of the plantornamental.①Reseach of the composition of plants of BaodingIn this research29various types of green space and15main roads in Baoding aresurveyed，Analyzes and summarizes the types and application frequency of the plants.Theresults show that there are65families,161genera and286kinds of plants, including204kinds of woody plants,55kinds of herbs,7kind of aquatic plants,13kind of lianas,4kindsof bamboos, In the Species richness or plant application frequency,Only in most of thecity’s average。Representative families and genera of woody plants are Rosaceae, Oleaceae,legume, Salicaceae, Caprifoliaceae, Celastraceae,Cupressaceae, etc; Representativefamilies and genera of herbs are Asteraceae, Iridaceae, Liliaceae, Sedumaceae, Poaceae,etc. Arbors and shrubs are the dominant, herbs followed,liana,aquatic plants and bamboospecies are too small.112kinds of plants are in the higher application frequency,OfSophora japonica, Platanus orientalis, Populus tomentosa,Prunus cerasifera, Forsythiasuspensa, hibiscus, Prunus cerasifera are the most.Common road greening plants are32species，The most commonly used for the roadside trees are Platanus Orientalis,Sophorajaponica, Populus tomentosa, Ailanthus altissima, Fraxinus americana,and Salix babylonica.There are107old trees more than100years old and313trees in50-99years old, and49valuable trees.Sophora japonica,Robinia pseudoacacia,the main are Pinus tabulaeformis,Pinus bungeana, Platycladus orientalis, Sabina chinensis, Ginkgo biloba, Ziziphusjujube,etc. ②Research of plant phenology of BaodingIn the artical100species of woody plants,9kind of herbaceous are selected forphenological observations, and its the phenology seasonal characteristics are observed, todetermine their ornament performances.And conbine with the collected phenological dataof15years, sorted out the phenological phases and seasonal ornamental characteristics113kinds of woody plants and12species of herbaceous plants in Baoding.
