With the great convenience to the people’s life, vehicle industry brought the environmentpollution and energy consumption. For the limit of the power battery’s high cost and thecontinual mileage, electric vehicle can’t go any further. EREV (Extended Range Electricvehicle) is a better way to solve the development dilemma of electric vehicle.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background and significance of the subject, andbriefly describes the development process of EREV. To accomplish the safe and stable targetof the vehicle driving, this project designs one controll system for the EREV. And this paperproposes a design scheme of software and hardware on the processing of the input signals andoutput signals control.Secondly, this paper introduces the detailed scheme of the hardware and software. In thepart of hardware, MCU is the core of the control structure. The hardware design is based onthe need of the vehicle driving operation. The new integrated parts take the place of thediscrete components, accomplishing the function of the switch monitor and switch control.After adding GPS model and SD model, the VCU can record the driving data and store thedata in SD for further analysis. As for the software, this scheme is divided into two parts:hardware drive design and vehicle control strategy. The hardware drive design is operation forthe register of the MCU, which is set in some value for the certain mode. The control strategyis the key issue for the driving experience, and the driving control strategy is considered mosttime.In order to prove the viability of the whole design proposal and the control performanceof the MCU, this paper provide test on the bench and in the Vehicle control system. Allexperiments data show that: the vehicle control strategy characterizes superior controllabilityand higher safety, and complete the function of CAN communication. The wirelesstransceiver module can be used in the driverless vehicle, after some module modified.
