With the development of the power systems and power automation systems, dispatchers are facing larger power grid scales and more complex structure, traditional dispatching automation systems has been unable to provide strong enough technical support for them.Based on real-time operating data, as well as high-performance parallel computers,Shandong Grid online warning and dynamic assessment system run rapid security early warning and dynamic assessment for Shandong Grid from the multi-level and multi-angle.This study is covered by a multi-disciplinary, multi-disciplinary field theory of a complex engineering and technology, including power system modeling, real-time operating status of the scan grid, static security analysis, network operation status, operation and adjustment ability to withstand risk assessment, as well as computing and communications for computer cluster parallel. The main purpose of the study is to search potential disturbances that causing the normal operation state of the system changed to the state of alert, emergency and even potentially dangerous, and conduct real-time assessment, show the results to dispatchers through visualization systems.Shandong Grid online early warning and Dynamic Assessment System is a combination of grid integrated assessment theory and experiences from Shandong Province dispatch center, propose a schedule for the Shandong Grid to running dynamic assessment and early warning theoretical system.Meanwhile,using the EMS system and data platform system of dispatch center in Shandong Province as a basis sources of data, this paper developed the frame of Shandong Grid security warning and intelligent defense systems,built hierarchical index models, established the health model of the whole network, achieved the basic grid indicators analysis and extraction, and provided basic computing services.Based on this frame,dispatchers can complete the operation condition assessment,dispatch adjustment capability assessment and the ability to resist risks assessment of the grid.This study adapts the application requirements of the smart grid dispatching, the dispatching operation of AC and DC combination power system, and the challenges of large interconnected power system.In development from the traditional empirical and analytic grid model to the smart grid pattern,this study will achieves better results.
