Human has never stopped exploring the ocean throughout the long course of humandevelopment. Along with the changing of the world pattern, researches on the ocean featureprominently in both economy and military fields. Thus, the study on marine environment isgetting more and more attention. Submersible buoy system is playing a large role in this fieldof study. This thesis is mainly to design a set of low-frequency signal acquisition and storagesystem on vector hydrophone. The low-frequency vector hydrophone is connected to the frontof the system to receive marine environment noise. Meanwhile, the system is equipped with adepth gauge and a compass in order to record the depth and the posture of the buoy in theocean as well as the temperature of buoy’s surrounding water. The collected data is stored inthe storage system of the buoy. A buoy radio is connected to the top of submersible buoysystem. It transmits data wirelessly with terrestrial terminal. In this thesis, the author illustrates his design of a signal reception and data acquisitionsystem and its theoretical analysis. On basis of the design scheme, the author realizes alow-frequency vector hydrophone receiving system and completes the data acquisition systemdebugging and peripherals joint debugging. The hardware of signal receiving system includes a pre-amplifier, a band-pass filter and asignal gain controller. The data acquisition system includes an AD acquisition system, acompass depth gauge acquisition module and a data storage system. As the vector hydrophonevelocity channel adopts vibration acceleration sensor and the charge amplifier, the preamprequires a constant current source power supply circuit. In order to obtain higher-qualitysignals so as to improve the performance of the entire system signal acquisition, the authoradds in some noise reduction processes in the design.Joint debugging experiments were conducted in the lab, pools and the sea. The resultsshow that: the low-frequency signal acquisition and storage system on vector hydrophoneworks well, it meets the requirement.
