The steam turbine and its auxiliary systems is one of the major systems of the three loopsof the Chinese Experimental Fast Reactor, a sign of success of the fast reactor project is togenerate power through a steam turbine driven generator. The simulation of the steam turbineand auxiliary systems is an important part of the development work of the experimental fastreactor full scope simulator. In order to analyze system performance, improve the operationalexperience of the operator, the modeling and simulation of steam turbine and its auxiliarysystems is essential. After analyzing the design and operating characteristics, this paper establishedsimulation models of steam turbine and auxiliary systems which include steam seal systemand lubricating oil system, with a two-phase flow modeling software JTOPMERET whichwere developed by GSE Company in United States, and then completed the loading andoperation of model on simulation support platform SimExec. For some equipment andprocess which cannot be the directly simulated by the software, such as seal pressureregulating valve, the turbine speed changes and automatic switching of lubricating oil pump, the paper uses the method of embedding computational procedures and control procedures toimprove the performance of the software generated model to achieve the simulation of thoseequipment and process.First of all, this paper complete the simulation calculation of operational characteristicsof the turbine and its auxiliary systems in rated steady working condition, and the Error waswithin the allowable range. Second, the simulation calculation of a normal start, close themain steam valve, relief valve failure, pump power, bearing friction and other workingconditions were completed. Through analyzing the trends of system flow, pressure, temperature and other parameters in these processes, such conclusion could be achieved thatthe trends of main parameters in dynamic and accidental working condition simulation werereasonable which verified the validity of the model.
