The earthquake is a very serious natural disasters, and happened in our countryfrequently. So the research on earthquake related to the safety of people’s lives andproperty. Years of research and practice shows that the modern seismic design ofstructures has been largely achieved earthquake-proof goals of minor earthquake,earthquake repair, earthquake does not fall. The traditional seismic method to resistseismic forces is enhancing the ductility of the structure itself, bearing capacity andstiffness. However, the earthquakes occur in some developed countries in the1990sshow that, although the building did not collapse in an earthquake, but thedestruction of its structure and high investment in equipment and luxury decorationcaused enormous losses. Therefore, the research and development of isolatedbuildings has become the focus of world attention increasingly.The isolation layer installed between the superstructure and foundation toseparate the two parts. Because the isolation layer has great flexibility and damp, soit can absorb and consume earthquake energy very well, in order to stop it passing tothe upper structure. So the upper part of the structure’s movement is relatively small,the dynamic deformation of the structure is also greatly reduced. So it can protect thestructure suffering from the earthquake damage.From the view of current isolation technology development, the use oflaminated rubber is a relatively mature way, but many problems still exist in theactual project, especially because of its higher cost, does not apply to our country’sconditions. In view of the existing problems of isolation technology, this paperproposes a new type of steel bar-lead bar isolator. In this paper, use the finite elementsoftware ANSYS to analyze the feasibility of such a device.This article describes the basic principles and advantages of the isolatedstructure, and introduced the most widely used form of isolation. On this basis, raisea more economic and reasonable isolation method of steel bar-lead bar. Repeatedsimulation of its component parameters, and select the optimal values. This paperpresents using the finite element software ANSYS simulation of steel bar-lead barisolation layer. Create a three-dimensional aerated concrete masonry base isolatedstructure model. Carrying dynamic analysis and study the characteristics and law of seismic response s. First of all, make sure that it has sufficient bearing capacitythrough determined the number and size of the steel bars by calculation. Andcalculate the ultimate displacement of the isolation layer to ensure the model ofisolation layer displacement is smaller than this limit. Then enter the seismic waves,using time history analysis comparing traditional anti-seismic structure and thestructure adopting the isolation under the action of earthquake dynamic responsecharacteristics (acceleration, layer shear, maximum layer displacement and storydrift). Theoretically discussed the feasibility of this steel bar-lead bar seismic isolator.
